Masala Pasta is an Italian Pasta with the touch of Indian Spices. Here we share the recipe on how to make Masala Pasta. The dish includes vegetables making it healthy to savour. You can make many variations in this recipe by adding vegetables that you like.


  • Water – 6 Cups or more
  • Rigatoni Pasta – 2 Cups
  • Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to Taste
  • Onions – 1 Chopped
  • Zucchini – 1 Sliced
  • Cauliflower – 1 Cup
  • Broccolli -1 Cup
  • Bell Pepper – 1 Sliced
  • Carrot – 1 Sliced
  • Tomato Puree -1/2 Cup
  • Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Paste – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder -1 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Honey – 1Tbsp
  • Tomato Ketch Up – 1/3 Cup


  1. Take 6 cups of water in a pot. Add some salt and when the water comes to boil, add 2 cups of pasta. Mix well using a fork like ladle and cook for 9-10 minutes in medium flame.
  2. When Pasta is about to get cooked, add Carrot, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Zucchini. After 1-2 minutes drain the vegetables and Pasta. Sprinkle some Oil so that it doesn’t stick.
  3. Now in a big pot, add 2 tbsp Olive Oil, add Cumin Seeds. When the Cumin Seeds starts crackling, add chopped Onions until translucent.
  4. Add Ginger paste and Garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  5. Add Bell Pepper and cook a little. Add Tomato puree, Tomato ketchup and Honey. Mix it well and add Pasta with Veggies. Again mix it nicely.
  6. Add Garam Masala powder, Red Chilli powder and salt. Mix all the masalas well and sprinkle spring onion on it.
  7. Serve your Masala Pasta hot with Cheese Bread or just as it is!Let us know if you like this recipe.
