Nom Nom! Who doesn’t love this aesthetically pleasing round shape, Donuts! I too love them and so decided to swap my Birthday Cake with it. And yes, I celebrated my day by cutting this Donut cake tower made by me. So, here is the recipe of my favorite, irresistible Donuts!


  • Maida (All purpose flour) – 500 gms
  • Fresh Yeast – 15gms
  • Custard Powder – 25gms
  • Milk – 300-325gms
  • Salt – 10gms
  • Sugar – 75gms
  • Butter – 50gms


1. In a bowl add warm Milk with fresh Yeast and Sugar. Keep this aside for 10 minutes.

2. In another bowl add All purpose flour (Maida), Custard powder, Salt and Butter.

3. Pour that Milk mixture in the same bowl and knead to make a soft dough.

4. Cover and keep it to rest for 10 minutes.

5. Punch it and sprinkle some flour on the rolling board and roll it to thick chapatti.

6. Cut with Donut cutter and cover it. Keep it aside in a warm place for proving for 40-45 minutes.

7. When Donut doubles in size, deep fry them on low sim till golden brown.

8. Let it cool. Now, drizzle melted chocolate and garnish with colorful Sprinklers.

9. Refrigerate Donuts for about 5 minutes and it’s ready to savor!
